About Time Place Tower

Time Place Tower is a 35-storey residential building on the Dubai Marina waterfront, developed by Abraj Constructions and completed in 2008. Rising 158 metres, the tower holds 289 residential units across one, two and three-bedroom apartments, alongside a small number of villas and penthouses. It sits within easy walking distance of Dubai Marina Mall, with Jumeirah Beach roughly a 10-minute walk away.

One detail worth knowing: an ambitious rooftop sundial, planned to be around 40 metres tall and among the largest in the world, was part of the tower's original design concept. It was never actually built, so visitors looking for it on the skyline today won't find it, the tower's name is a nod to that original idea rather than a feature that exists.

Location & Amenities

Time Place Tower is joined in Royale Stays’ Dubai Marina Building Guide cluster by Dorra Bay and La Riviera Tower, both Dubai Marina towers Royale Stays has covered separately.

Residents have on-site access to a swimming pool, a fully equipped gym with cardio, weight-training and circuit areas, a sauna and steam room, 24-hour security with CCTV coverage, and covered parking. The building's Dubai Marina waterfront position puts Marina Walk, the tram line and a wide choice of restaurants and cafes within easy reach, alongside quick access to Sheikh Zayed Road for the rest of the city. For a wider view of the area's short-term rental market, see Royale Stays' Airbnb management guide for Dubai Marina.

Sale prices across the building's unit mix currently start from around AED 1.1 million, averaging roughly AED 2.22 million, with one-bedroom units specifically listed in the AED 1.35-1.6 million range on major portals. Long-term rents run from around AED 11,000 a month, averaging AED 13,000-15,000, depending on unit size and view. These are portal-sourced market figures rather than Royale Stays earnings data. Owners weighing a specific unit's numbers can run their own scenario through Royale Stays' ROI calculator.

Airbnb / Short-Term Rental Income Potential

Time Place Tower already has a real short-term rental footprint: live Airbnb listings exist for units in the building, and a named competitor, Deluxe Holiday Homes, currently operates a unit here. One corporate short-let operator states plainly that the property is "a licensed and self-catering holiday home" and "not part of a hotel, resort or a serviced apartment", direct confirmation this is a standard residential building rather than a hotel-branded product.

Because Time Place Tower is not hotel-branded, the standard owner-direct DTCM holiday-home permit process applies. Royale Stays' Airbnb management services cover furnishing, photography, dynamic pricing, guest communications and maintenance coordination, for a fee starting from 15%. A swimming pool, a fully equipped gym, sauna and steam room facilities, 24-hour security with CCTV, and covered parking, all within walking distance of Dubai Marina Mall.
Yes. It is a standard freehold residential building with an active holiday-home market already, not a hotel or serviced-apartment property, so the normal owner-direct DTCM holiday-home permit process applies; Royale Stays can manage that process on an owner's behalf.
