Symbolic Alpha is a 10-storey residential building in Liwan (Queue Point), Wadi Al Safa 2, part of the wider DubaiLand master development in Dubai. It was developed by Symbolic Real Estate Development, trading as Symbolic Developments, a boutique real estate arm of the Speedex Group, a Dubai conglomerate that began as a hardware store in 1991. The building comprises 97 homes across one- and two-bedroom apartments, and takes design inspiration from the geometry of beehives, aiming to optimise natural light and airflow.
Symbolic Alpha was Symbolic Developments' debut project, launched to market in December 2023 and delivered in February 2025, a reported 14 months from launch and ahead of the original schedule. The developer describes the project as incorporating renewable-energy and water-conserving features throughout.
The developer's own site and Property Finder's own listing both state a February 2025 delivery date; two other property portals record a later April 2025 completion date for the same building, a roughly two-month difference. The developer's own materials describe some two-bedroom layouts as "2.5-bedroom" (understood to mean a two-bedroom-plus-study configuration); this guide uses the plain one- and two-bedroom framing used by most listings.
