About The Crescent Tower A, Dubai Production City

The Crescent Tower A is a 21-storey freehold residential tower in Dubai Production City, developed by DAMAC Properties. Construction across the wider complex began in July 2006 and was completed by December 2008. The tower offers studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, each with balconies and, per the developer's own building specification, panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

The Crescent Tower A is one of three buildings, together with The Crescent Tower B and The Crescent Tower C, that make up The Crescent, a shared freehold complex surrounded by manicured lawns and a semi-circular portico, a design signature repeated across all three towers. All three were developed together by DAMAC Properties and share the same general amenities and location within Dubai Production City, though each tower has its own separate unit stock and Dubai Land Department transaction history.

Not to be confused with: The Crescent Tower B and The Crescent Tower C, the other two buildings in the same complex. Royale Stays already publishes a separate guide to The Crescent Tower C; this page covers The Crescent Tower A specifically, a distinct building with its own units, pricing record and Dubai Land Department transactions.

Airbnb & Rental Income Potential

Short-term rental activity already exists in The Crescent complex: a competitor short-term-rental operator publishes a dedicated listing page for The Crescent Tower C, the sister tower in the same complex, evidence that Dubai Tourism-permitted holiday-home operation is already active on this site, though this does not confirm activity specifically within Tower A and reflects no Royale Stays management relationship.

Dubai Production City is not currently one of Royale Stays' five core managed areas (Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina, Downtown Dubai, JBR and Business Bay), so this guide does not claim a Royale Stays management track record at The Crescent Tower A specifically. DAMAC Properties is a private real estate developer rather than a restricted hotel brand, so there is no confirmed policy barrier to running a licensed holiday home in the building.

Every short-term rental in Dubai requires a DTCM holiday home permit. Royale Stays can arrange the permit application and manage the day-to-day operation, including for owners based overseas, for a fee starting from 15%, covering furnishing, photography, pricing, check-in and guest communications. See Royale Stays' Dubai holiday home permit guide for the current permit process.

Existing short-term-rental activity in the complex is visible on deluxehomes.com (www.deluxehomes.com/building/the-crescent-tower-c/), a short-term-rental operator with a dedicated "Short Term Rentals in The Crescent Tower C" page. No short-term-rental prohibition applies to DAMAC Properties-developed, non-hotel-branded buildings.
