About The Crest
The Crest is a four-tower residential development, Towers A, B, C and D, built by Sobha Realty on the waterfront in Sobha Hartland, Mohammed Bin Rashid City. The majority of independently checked sources, including dedicated listing pages for each individual tower, converge on four sister towers; one third-party marketing site, run by a separate brokerage and partly describing a different, newer Sobha Hartland community, states three towers instead, treated here as an isolated outlier rather than a genuine even split.
The Crest should not be confused with Crest Grande, a separate, newer Sobha Realty tower also in Sobha Hartland. Crest Grande reuses the same A, B and C tower-lettering convention as the original Crest, but it is a distinct, later, 41-storey project with its own one to four-bedroom unit mix, sold and marketed independently of the four towers this guide covers.
Construction on the wider Crest development began in November 2021. Sources broadly converge on a mid to late 2025 completion window: some cite June 2025, others describe the development as complete by the third quarter of that year, so this guide states a range rather than one picked date. Towers A and C are already covered in full depth on their own dedicated Royale Stays guides, linked throughout this page.
Tower-by-Tower at a Glance
The four Crest towers are not identical: heights, unit mixes and completion details vary meaningfully by building. The table below puts all four side by side, the only place on this site that does.
| Tower | Floors | Unit Mix | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tower A | 46 | 1-3BR | Reported sold out from the developer; most current listings are resale. Full guide linked. |
| Tower B | ~35 (single-source, see note) | 1-3BR | Smallest units in the complex, roughly 513-1,250 sq ft. Completed June 2025. No dedicated Royale Stays guide yet. |
| Tower C | 46 | 1-4BR | Widest unit range in the complex. Full guide linked. |
| Tower D | 46 | 3BR + maid (limited edition) | Units roughly 1,467-1,706 sq ft. No dedicated Royale Stays guide yet. |
Tower B's floor count is drawn from a single aggregated source; an independent second source could not be confirmed at the time of writing (a direct fetch attempt returned a Cloudflare block), so this figure should be treated as provisional rather than fully confirmed.
Towers A and C already have full Royale Stays Building Guides, covering unit types, amenities, transportation and a detailed Airbnb income discussion for each tower specifically. Towers B and D do not yet have dedicated guides on this site.
Shared Amenities & Design
Amenities reported across The Crest development include a crystal lagoon at the centre of the complex, multiple swimming pools, a fitness studio and outdoor gym, a health club, a Tai chi terrace, a multi-purpose hall, a kids' play area, a petanque boules lawn, sky gardens linking the towers, and barbecue areas. Sobha Realty markets the complex around a Caribbean-style waterfront design language, echoed in the crystal lagoon and landscaped terraces shared by all four towers.
Location & Sobha Hartland Context
The Crest sits within Sobha Hartland, a waterfront master community in Mohammed Bin Rashid City with views toward the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary. For a fuller picture of the wider community, including transport links, nearby landmarks and the area's broader short-term rental context, see Royale Stays' dedicated Sobha Hartland area guide, which covers the neighbourhood in more depth than this page needs to repeat.
Airbnb & Short-Term Rental Market Outlook
Short-term letting anywhere in Dubai, including at The Crest, runs through a DTCM (Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing) holiday-home permit. Sobha Hartland is currently outside Royale Stays' confirmed management areas (Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina, Downtown Dubai, JBR and Business Bay), so no occupancy or income figure is stated on the company's behalf for this complex.
The Crest already shows real short-term rental activity. Bayut lists 337 apartments for rent complex-wide, and the complex is listed directly on Booking.com under 'The Crest Sobha Hartland, Dubai' with 2026-dated pricing, alongside multiple Airbnb listings branded under the same name. This is market evidence that guests are already staying at The Crest, not a Royale Stays-managed booking figure.
Owners weighing a Crest unit for Airbnb, or considering Royale Stays' Airbnb management once the company expands into Sobha Hartland, can use the ROI calculator to model potential returns, review Royale Stays' full Airbnb management services, or check the Dubai holiday home permit guide. Management starts from 15% of gross booking revenue and covers furnishing, photography, pricing, check-in and guest communications; owners ready to move forward can submit a property for review.
Royale Stays does not yet have Crest- or Sobha Hartland-specific portfolio data to draw on for this page; this section reflects already-visible listing demand at The Crest only, reviewed by Chris Veinbaums, DTCM-licensed operator.
