Sources also differ slightly on the tower's exact height, with some counting 29 floors and others 30 plus four basement levels, likely a ground floor or podium counting difference rather than a genuine dispute. The tower takes its name from Merano, the spa town in the Italian Alps, and DAMAC carried that theme into the interiors and amenity spaces.
One spelling matters here: Merano Tower in Business Bay is unrelated to Murano Residences in Al Furjan, a three tower project completed between 2016 and 2019 by a different developer, Ghreiwati Property Development.
