The tower was developed by Dubai Properties Group, JBR's master developer, alongside TECOM Group, with the wider Murjan Cluster completed in 2007. Murjan 6 is one of seven structures that make up the Murjan complex: Murjan 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 are residential towers, Murjan 4 is also marketed as Royal Beach Residence, and Rove JBR is a separate hotel within the same footprint.
